Basic requirement
Magnic Light requires an aluminium rim. Pure carbon rims are unsuitable; hybrid rims with an aluminium braking surface work.
The right version in three steps
- Check the rim: aluminium or a hybrid rim with an aluminium edge.
- Check the brakes: rim brake, disc brake or hydraulic rim brake.
- Measure the clearance: on disc-brake bikes, the outer fork width to the rim determines whether Microlights Disc or Wega is the right choice.
