without contact with the aluminum rim and without any additional components on the bike, the integrated LED lighting unit lights up like magic. Annoying battery or rechargeable battery changes as well as stiff, squeaking dynamos with complex wiring are a thing of the past with this completely encapsulated technology that the cyclist does not notice. Thanks to a flexible spiral cable and a generator arm that can be adjusted via two ball joints, Wega lamps can be easily attached to any frame/fork and rim type. The generator contains a neodymium magnet wheel magnetized at the highest level, which induces eddy current fields in conventional non-magnetic aluminum rims with the resulting magnetic fields that set the magnet wheel in rotation to generate electricity. UHMWPE alternator protection stickers are included.
