2. Processing when visiting the website
When you visit our website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data, in particular IP address, date and time, page accessed, referrer URL, browser and operating-system information. Processing is carried out to provide the website securely and reliably on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
3. Cookies and shopping basket
We use technically necessary cookies and comparable technologies so that the website, language selection, shopping basket and ordering process function. Optional services are activated only after your consent via the cookie settings. The current information about purpose, provider and storage period is provided there.
4. Contact
If you contact us by email or contact form, we process the data you provide in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. Orders, customer account and contract processing
For orders, we process in particular your name, billing and delivery address, email address, order and payment information and, where you create a customer account, the associated account data. Processing is necessary to perform the purchase contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Statutory retention obligations, particularly under commercial and tax law, remain unaffected.
For delivery, we transfer the necessary data to the commissioned shipping company. For payment by bank transfer, we process payment data to allocate and handle your order. If further payment methods are offered in future, the necessary information will be provided during checkout.
6. External content and links
Our website may contain links to external services and embedded media. When accessing external services, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. External content requiring consent is loaded only after you have given consent.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority; our competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
8. Updates
We update this Privacy Policy if the services used or legal requirements change. Before activating PayPal, Stripe, Google Analytics or comparable services, we will add the relevant information and cookie consent.
