Wega – Quattro Set
Contactless, battery-free bicycle lighting for aluminium rims. The integrated dynamo works contactlessly by eddy-current induction on any aluminium rim – with no magnets on the wheel.
Please select orientation and colour above.
Scope of delivery: 2 front lights and 2 rear lights, Wega mount, protective stickers and mounting tools.
Which Magnic Light fits my bike?
Rim brake → Microlights brake shoe · disc brake with narrow/medium fork → Microlights Disc · wide fork/suspension fork/wide tyres → Wega. For Microlights Disc, the outside fork-to-rim distance must be below 65 mm. Wega is universally adjustable for wide forks and suspension forks.

Technical specifications
| Operating principle | Contactless Energy Transfer (CET) using eddy-current induction and magnetic coupling to an aluminium/metal rim |
|---|---|
| Power supply | Generated while riding; no battery required |
| Generator output | approx. 0.1–0.5 W per light, depending on speed and adjustment |
| Generator voltage | approx. 2–5 V AC |
| Weather protection | IPX6 |
| Standlight | Front: no standlight; rear: approx. 4–10 minutes |
Why Wega?
Wega separates the generator and light head with a spiral cable, allowing flexible positioning on the fork, frame or rack. Energy transfer is contactless through the metal rim.
Compatibility
Suitable for bicycles with an electrically conductive aluminium/metal rim. Conventional full-carbon rims are not suitable.
Frequently asked questions
Does the generator touch the rim?
No. When correctly adjusted, a small air gap remains.
Do I need batteries?
No. Electrical energy is generated while riding.
Does the system create resistance?
Yes. Power generation causes a contactless electromagnetic braking torque, but no mechanical friction contact.
